Is Fendi trendy? – Yes Fendi is very trendy and so are their handbags! So today I want to look at a company profile for Fendi and at their latest handbag designs. This spring summer many collections are trying to outshout each other in loudness such as Dolce & Gabbana for example.

Although Fendi do not lack any of the unikeness in style displayed by for example D&G, their bags are slightly more subtle. I think I have mentioned before that I do not like garish gold on handbags, but a nice metallic handbag design can beautifully accentuate your tan in summer.

Marc Jacobs is an American Fashion Designer. He is the head designer for “Marc Jacobs”, as well as the diffusion line “Marc by Marc Jacobs”. Jacobs is also the creative director of the prestigious French design house Louis Vuitton.

Here we will look at the handbags from the current Spring 2008 collection for Marc Jacobs and Marc by Marc Jacobs. What is the difference between the two lines? Well that is simple to explain. The diffusion line was only launched in 2001, is more affordable and targets a younger hip audience. Marc by Marc Jacobs has proved so popular that it is one of the first diffusion lines that has threatened to overshadow the mainline.
